PTT is preparing to deliver packages on the same day. The pilot program started in Bursa and will be implemented in Ankara. The on-site distribution application will also speed up the cargo processes. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made statements about PTT’s new projects. Minister Uraloğlu stated that within the scope of the Same Day Delivery project, packages arriving at the same city as the sender in big cities with intensive e-commerce will be delivered on the same day. IT BEGUN IN BURSA, NEXT IS ANKARA The said project was launched in Bursa on January 13, 2025. Uraloğlu said, “In the Same Day Delivery Project that we started as a pilot in Bursa, we delivered approximately 4,000 packages to the recipients on the same day they were accepted.” Uraloğlu mentioned that the implementation will start in Ankara in the second phase of the project and after the pilot program, the service will also be provided in big cities like Istanbul and Izmir. ON-SITE DISTRIBUTION BEGINNING Uraloğlu also provided information about the On-Site Distribution model, stating that the goal is to deliver packages sent from a different city to the destination city on the same day. Uraloğlu noted that the application will be initially launched in Şanlıurfa.
