DID NORTH KOREA SEND SOLDIERS TO UKRAINE? Recent reports from sources like Interfax-Ukraine and KyivPost claimed, based on Ukrainian intelligence, that on October 3, six North Korean soldiers were killed and three were injured in the Russian-occupied Donbas region. According to the sources, the North Korean soldiers were present in the area for “exchange of experiences” with Russian army personnel. On October 8, South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun alleged that North Korea may have sent soldiers to Ukraine to assist Russia.
