Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the slain Hezbollah Leader Hasan Nasrallah was “the main dynamo of Iran’s Evil Axis.” He stated, “We have settled the score by killing Nasrallah.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke for the first time after the killing of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah.
Netanyahu expressed that they dealt with a “murderer” responsible for the deaths of countless Israelis, as well as many American and French citizens, stating that Nasrallah was “the main motor of Iran’s axis of evil.” Describing Nasrallah and his associates as “architects of the plan to destroy Israel,” Netanyahu added, “He was not just activated by Iran alone; in many cases, he activated Iran. Killing Nasrallah was a fundamental prerequisite to achieve the goals we set.”
“We will face significant challenges in the coming days,” Netanyahu emphasized, noting that the heavy attacks by the Israeli military earlier in the week were not sufficient. He said, “As long as Nasrallah was alive, Hezbollah could rapidly rehabilitate its abilities. I gave the order, and Nasrallah is no longer with us.” Netanyahu elaborated that the killing of Nasrallah was a step not only to bring back the residents of the north to their homes but also to accelerate the return of our captives in the south and alter the power dynamics in the region in the coming years.
Despite their achievements, Netanyahu stressed that their work was not finished. He stated, “We will face significant challenges in the coming days, and we will overcome them.”
Sending threatening messages to Iran as well, Netanyahu said, “We will strike back at those who attack us. There is no place in Iran or the Middle East beyond the reach of Israel’s long arm, and you know how true that is today. Our enemies attacked us a year ago and thought Israel was heading for destruction. A year later, after blow upon blow, success after success, they realized how their hopes were shattered.”
Netanyahu mentioned that Israel was on the rise, saying, “We are determined to ensure Israel’s victory, bring back the residents of the north, and bring our captives home. We will not forget them for a second.”
