Musk’s Lawsuit Shock: Failed to Make $20,000 Payment to Collect Votes

2 Mins Read

In a lawsuit filed in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States, Elon Musk and “America PAC” are accused of not making the promised $20,000 payment in exchange for collecting signatures from a person. Musk and his team are facing contract breach and law violation charges.

In the lawsuit requesting class action status, filed in the case, an unnamed person is alleged to have received hourly pay to collect votes before the US presidential elections, but the payment of around $20,000 for signature directions was not made to this person. Musk and “America PAC” are accused in the lawsuit of violating a contract and Pennsylvania’s wage payment laws.

“THERE ARE OTHER INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED” It was claimed in the lawsuit filed that the person tried to receive the payment multiple times but was not successful, and that this person was in contact with others who were in a similar situation. Andrew Romeo, a spokesperson for “America PAC,” stated in a comment on the matter that the political action committee is committed to making payments for all legitimate signature collections, mentioning that they still do not know who the plaintiff is and cannot discuss the specifics of the case. The website of America PAC indicates that most checks owed to those who signed the petition are mostly mailed out. “America PAC” had offered $100 for registered voters to sign the petition and $100 for individuals who directed a registered voter to sign the petition. Musk, at an event held in the state of Wisconsin on March 31st, presented $1 million checks to 2 people who signed his petition against “activist judges.”
