In Germany, a woman was found dead in the prison cell where she was visiting her husband. Prosecutors indicated that the male inmate is the main suspect in the murder and have initiated an investigation. It is alleged that the woman, aged 35, visited her 37-year-old husband in Burg Prison in Saxony-Anhalt on Thursday, April 3rd. Her lifeless body was discovered in the visitation room after the meeting. According to Die Welt newspaper, the Stendal Prosecutor’s Office stated that the inmate husband is the main suspect in the case. The incident occurred in the Burg prison near Magdeburg in the evening hours when the couple was alone in a room designated for long-term visits that are not constantly monitored. Although checks are conducted before such visits take place, it was noted that the rooms are not under constant surveillance. The deceased woman’s body was taken to the forensic institute to determine the exact cause of death.
