The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Deniz Eliş, a Turkish citizen allegedly detained in Bosnia Herzegovina, has been located.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they have reached Deniz Eliş, who was reported to be forcibly detained in Bosnia Herzegovina, and that arrangements are being made for his transfer to Turkey’s Embassy in Zagreb.
A post on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Support social media account mentioned that “Today, our citizen Deniz Eliş, who was reported to be forcibly detained in Bosnia Herzegovina, has been reached. The transfer of our citizen to our Embassy in Zagreb is being arranged.” The post also indicated that the legal process regarding the matter is being followed by Turkey’s Embassy in Zagreb, Turkey’s Embassy in Sarajevo, and Turkey’s Consulate General in Banja Luka, while Eliş’s family has been informed.
