Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu made remarks at the Genç Viaduct, which connects the provinces of Bingöl and Diyarbakır in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions as part of his Bingöl province agenda.
Minister Uraloğlu stated, “One of the roads we have opened to traffic but have not officially inaugurated before. This is the road passing through Genç in Bingöl to Diyarbakır. We have shortened the total 47.6-kilometer road by 2.5 kilometers to 40.5 kilometers; we have completed our work in general within the project, and we are continuing our efforts. The most important structure here is our Genç Viaduct.”
“We Reduced 43 Kilometers of Road to 40.5 Kilometers” Minister Uraloğlu highlighted that the Genç Viaduct eases urban traffic flow. “It is a 620-meter-long viaduct. It is an 18-span viaduct with a place in the viaduct rankings in Turkey.
We have shortened the total 43-kilometer road by 2.5 kilometers to 40.5 kilometers. We have ensured a safe traffic flow; we have provided safe, comfortable, and fast traffic for both the residents of Genç district and the travelers passing through.”
