Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that Togg’s first sedan model, the T10F, will be available next year, saying, “With the T10F, Togg will actually be targeting a very different audience. It is designed to meet the expectations of a more sporty yet sedan vehicle. The T10F will offer 80 kilometers more range than the current SUV model.” Minister Kacır visited the technology campus of Turkey’s Automobile Joint Venture Group (TOGG) located in Gemlik district of Bursa.
Receiving information about their activities from company officials, Kacır embarked on a test drive with Togg’s first sedan model, the T10F, which has started safety and endurance test processes. Commenting on the progress, Kacır mentioned, “As you know, since September, we have initiated the process of complying with global safety regulations in Turkey. The General Safety Regulations (GSR) 2 requirements became mandatory in September in Turkey. Togg, of course, quickly adapted to this new regulation. Just a moment ago, I had the pleasure of experiencing Togg’s autonomous driving capabilities.” Minister Kacır announced that next year Togg’s new model T10F will be introduced to the market, continuing, “With the T10F, Togg will actually be addressing a very different target audience. This model is designed to meet the expectations of a slightly more sporty yet sedan vehicle. Once again, the T10F will have a range 80 kilometers longer than the current SUV model. This is a feature that electric vehicle users will greatly appreciate. As you know, we attach great importance to the widespread use of both Togg and other electric vehicles in Turkey.” Kacır pointed out that they have ensured the widespread availability of charging stations for electric vehicles in all cities with support, stating that there are currently 23,000 public charging points in all cities, with 8,000 offering fast charging capabilities. Emphasizing that they will further expand private sector charging station investments with support in the future, Kacır added, “Turkey is currently one of the leading countries in terms of public charging stations per electric vehicle in Europe. We will strengthen this leadership role even further, and hopefully Togg will continue to be Turkey’s pride and joy in terms of both R&D, innovation, and production capabilities. We will continue to stand by and support Togg. Here, there is a fantastic team of young and experienced individuals. Therefore, we will always be there to support them in their endeavors for the future of Turkey with the sweat and wisdom of this team.”
