Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, announced that there have been 201 new investment allocation requests in a week with the “transparent” and “fast” allocation process they initiated in organized industrial zones (OIZs).

Minister Kacır shared information on the allocation of investment areas to industrialists in OIZs through his social media account. Regarding the data from the first week, Minister Kacır noted: “With the transparent and fast allocation process we have started in organized industrial zones, there have been 170 allocations for investment sites in 56 OIZs and pre-allocation applications for 31 investment sites in 5 OIZs in the first week.

As a result, there have been 201 new investment allocation requests in a week. 1484 allocations for investment sites in 133 OIZs and pre-allocation applications for 6 OIZs are still ongoing. With these steps we have taken, we are accelerating industrial investments.”
