Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, stated, “We will continue to work until we reduce inflation to single digits.” Minister Işıkhan met with industrialists and business people in Arnavutköy within the scope of the program “Turkey Century Labor Meetings.” During the program, Minister Işıkhan listened to the demands of industrialists and business people. Pointing out that record after record has been broken in employment, Işıkhan said, “As a result of the steps we have taken to strengthen the labor market, our employment figure has reached a historic peak with 32 million 712 thousand people according to the latest data.” Işıkhan emphasized that the unemployment rate has been in single digits for the past 15 months. Minister Işıkhan stated, “In line with our vision for investment, employment, production, and exports, we will continue to work until we reduce inflation to single digits.” Işıkhan noted that they aim for a development process where everyone wins and emphasized that the industrial sector is one of the most important actors.
