Microphone Hits Trump’s Mouth, Gives Reporter a Stern Look: “Appearing on TV Tonight”

2 Mins Read

In the United States, a microphone from a media outlet hit President Trump in the mouth as he was giving a statement. Trump raised his eyebrows at the reporter but made a joke out of the situation. Yesterday, while answering reporters’ questions at the Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, U.S. President Donald Trump accidentally got hit in the face with a boom microphone. As the microphone hit Trump’s mouth, the President reflexively closed his eyes and tilted his head back, but the microphone then moved to the other side of his face. Trump looked at the reporter sternly and the journalist quickly pulled back the microphone. During this incident, Trump humorously raised his eyebrows. The President, referring to the journalist, joked by saying, “He appeared on TV tonight. It was a big news tonight. Did you see it?” The media outlet for which the microphone operator worked was not disclosed. He also stumbled a little moment before the microphone incident while climbing the stairs of Marine One in the White House’s garden. Trump stumbled when his right foot got caught under the first step as he was helping DOGE President Elon Musk’s four-year-old son X to board the helicopter. The U.S. President caught himself and quickly climbed the remaining steps.
