Measures Taken to Restrict Steel Imports from Four Countries

1 Mins Read

An antidumping measure will be applied to steel imports originating from China, India, Japan, and Russia. The Regulation on Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports prepared by the Ministry of Trade has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force. Accordingly, the final review investigation for “hot-rolled flat steel” originating from China, India, Japan, and Russia has been completed. The investigation concluded that the product’s import is being dumped and causing harm to the domestic production industry. Therefore, it has been decided to implement definitive measures against dumping in the import of the product ranging from 6.1% to 43.31% of the CIF value.
