The Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) reported that analysis reports are directly forwarded to the requesting prosecution without being presented to any authority or approval.
In a written statement from MASAK, it was understood that there is a need to inform the public again regarding the systematic baseless accusations aimed at misleading the public and damaging our institution.
– The reports prepared by MASAK as a result of the analysis work arising from requests forwarded by the prosecution are completed entirely within a technical process under the supervision and control of the management levels of the Board, without being presented to any authority or approval outside the Presidency, and are directly forwarded to the requesting prosecution. – The Ministry management authorities have no involvement in this process. The fact that the reports are prepared by expert assistants authorized by legislation does not weaken the quality of the reports in terms of legality and competence. All MASAK reports are based on financial data obtained from other institutions and organizations. – Whether the data in the MASAK reports constitute any crime is always at the discretion of the judicial authorities. The fight against financial crimes is very important for our country and nation, and MASAK carries out its work diligently within the framework of the powers granted by the laws.
