The date for the payment of diesel and fertilizer support is now on the agenda of farmers as of March. Farmers are eagerly awaiting the date when the diesel and fertilizer support payments deposited into their accounts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will be transferred this month. The ministry will cover 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost. So when will the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March 2025 be made, have they been deposited already?

The timing of the payment of diesel and fertilizer support for March has been questioned by farmers waiting for the ministry to make the payment. Eyes are now on the ministry’s announcement for the diesel and fertilizer support payments to be checked online through the e-Government portal. So, when will the diesel and fertilizer support payments be made, have they been deposited?

The diesel and fertilizer support payments were already transferred to producers’ accounts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on February 21st. Therefore, the expectation is for the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March to be deposited by March 21st. Farmers can check the status of their diesel and fertilizer support payments online through the e-Government portal using their Turkish ID numbers and passwords. Simply logging into the “Farmer Registration System” screen will be enough. The support coefficient value for the 2025 production year has been set at 244 Turkish lira per decare. Basic support will cover 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost for all products. Farmers growing barley and wheat in the second category will receive 317.2 Turkish lira per decare, while those in the third category producing sunflower, hazelnuts, soybeans, dry beans, and tea will receive 366 Turkish lira per decare, and those in the fourth category producing cotton and rice will receive 549 Turkish lira per decare as basic support.
