Within the framework of the IPARD III Program, a total of 50 million euros in grants will be provided for local development. Applications for the program will commence in June. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumakli, announced the publication of the 6th Call for Applications of the IPARD III Program, providing a total of 50 million euros in grants to local action groups in 81 provinces, fully funded at 100% rate. Yumakli shared information about the call on his social media account. He emphasized that they continue to support innovative solutions to mobilize local potential, especially focusing on women and youth in rural areas. Through the local action groups formed by actors ranging from farmers to civil society organizations, strategies are developed and implemented for the development of regions. Yumakli pointed out that the local people in rural areas strengthen locally by combining under the LEADER approach, stating that so far, 328 million lira in grant support has been provided to local action groups within the scope of the IPARD Program. Minister Yumakli commented, “Today, with the 6th Call for the Implementation of Local Development Strategies-LEADER Approach, we will provide a total of 50 million euros in support, fully funded at 100% rate. Good luck.” APPLICATIONS START IN JUNE Yumakli’s announcements included information about the application process. Accordingly, the call covers the period of the IPARD Program 2021-2027. Applications for the call will start being accepted from 2 June at 09:00 at the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution provincial coordinations and provincial liaison offices where the project will be implemented. The Online Project Application System will close on 25 June at 18:00. The deadline for applications is set for 27 June at 18:00.
