The Ministry of Trade has temporarily suspended lemon exports as of April 8th. The decision regarding lemon exports was announced by the Ministry. In a statement issued by the Ministry, it was mentioned that recent cold weather and frost incidents in certain regions of the country were taken into consideration. In order to maintain the balance of domestic supply and demand for lemons and prioritize supply security, it was stated that a decision was made, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, to halt lemon exports starting from April 8, 2025. It was emphasized that market conditions are closely monitored and that necessary additional measures will be taken if needed.
