Israel’s Fifth Day of Attacks in Lebanon: Death Toll Reaches 25

For the fifth consecutive day, Israel has been bombing Lebanon from the air, targeting a house in the southern border town of Shebaa today. It was announced that the attack resulted in the death of nine people from the same family, including four children. The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that 25 people have died in the attacks carried out since last night. In addition, five Syrian soldiers were killed in Israel’s second attack on the Syrian border. Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced missile attacks on the Israeli towns of Tiberias and Kiryat Ata. Israeli warplanes have been bombing Lebanon since September 23.

Yesterday, the army had announced that they had targeted the infrastructure on the Lebanon-Syria border to stop the weapons supply to Hezbollah from Syria. The Israeli army stated today that they had intervened in four unmanned aerial vehicles sent from Lebanon near Ras Nakura.
It was reported that ten missiles were launched from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted, while others fell into open areas. In a statement from the Israeli Red Star of David emergency service, it was reported that a person in northern Israel was injured by shrapnel and was being treated in Nahariya. Hezbollah declared that they had carried out numerous attacks on the Kiryat Ata settlement in northern Israel.
In the statement, it was mentioned that the Kiryat Ata settlement was targeted with the newly used “Fadi 1” missiles for the first time.
The statement also noted that the town of Tiberias in northern Israel was targeted with numerous missiles. Meanwhile, people in the United States took to the streets once again to protest against Israel.
In New York, the attacks by Israel on Gaza and Lebanon were protested against.
