The Israeli army surrounded ambulances in the bombarded area in the southernmost part of Rafah in Gaza, resulting in injuries to some medical personnel. The army spokesperson Avichay Adraee warned the Palestinians in the area to evacuate.

A written statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent provided information about the siege in Rafah. According to the statement, many ambulances in the bombarded area in Rafah were surrounded by Israeli forces. The statement mentioned that some health workers were injured during the siege, but did not provide detailed information about the numbers. The Red Crescent also reported that contact with the crew held under siege by Israel had been cut off hours ago. Witnesses reported that Israeli forces surrounded the ambulances using Quadcopter drones and intense artillery fire.

GAZANS FORCED TO FLEE Meanwhile, Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee warned Palestinians in the Tel Sultan area in the west of Rafah to evacuate. Adraee stated that the Israeli army had begun attacking Tel Sultan claiming it was a “dangerous war zone.” The spokesperson instructed Palestinians to go to the Mevasi area, extending from the south of Han Yunus to the north of Deyr Belah, which has been the target of night-long attacks resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.
