Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant alleged that they have destroyed Hezbollah with ground attacks in southern Lebanon. According to a statement from the Israeli Defense Ministry, Gallant discussed the situation in the region with the 98th Division Commander and senior officials at the Lebanese border. Addressing Israeli soldiers, Gallant stated, “We are not only defeating the enemy but also destroying them by eliminating tunnels, weapon arsenals, and attack infrastructure.” Defending the Israeli military’s attempt to invade southern Lebanon, Gallant said, “Israeli soldiers are now present in areas where Hezbollah used to launch attacks on Israeli settlements.” Claiming that the primary goal is to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the region, Gallant alleged that the Israeli military still has “missions to complete.”
