1 Mins Read

The Israeli government has been blocking aid entries to Gaza since March 2nd. Extreme right-wing Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that they will not allow even “a grain of wheat” to enter the Gaza Strip.

Approximately 2.3 million Palestinians living in Gaza, where aid entries have been blocked by Israel since March 2nd, are struggling with hunger. Due to the shortage of flour and fuel following the blocking of aid entries, bakeries in Gaza have been unable to produce since the beginning of this month.

ISRAELI MEDIA POINTED TO THE COMING WEEKS Israeli media claimed that the army will allow some humanitarian aid to enter Gaza in the “coming weeks.” At a conference, Minister Smotrich, an extreme right-winger, addressed the claim that the Israeli army will allow some humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.

“NOT EVEN A GRAIN OF WHEAT WILL ENTER” Smotrich stated that contrary to reports, not even “a grain of wheat will be allowed to enter Gaza.” Following the end of the first stage of the ceasefire and prisoner swap agreement in Gaza on March 2nd, Israel had halted humanitarian aid entries to the Gaza Strip.
