Reports indicate that 2,412 people have lost their lives and 11,267 have been injured in the attacks carried out by the Israeli army on Lebanon since October 8, 2023. A written statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health provided information on the ongoing attacks by the Israeli army on Lebanon. According to the statement, it was reported that 45 more individuals lost their lives yesterday in the continuing Israeli attacks, with 179 others being injured. It was further mentioned that the number of casualties in the attacks launched by Israel on Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has reached 2,412, while the number of injured individuals has increased to 11,267.

The Israeli army, engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, initiated intense airstrikes on the southern cities of Lebanon, as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23. The Israeli army also announced on September 30 that it had started “limited and intense” ground attacks targeting Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the south of Lebanon. It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Lebanon due to the Israeli bombardment. As the migration wave from the southern regions of the country to the capital Beirut and the north continues, it is noted that more than 461,000 of the displaced individuals have sought refuge in Syria.
