The Israeli army conducted an airstrike targeting a vehicle in Sidon in southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one person. Reports indicated that the Israeli forces also targeted container homes in two cities.
In an effort to cease mutual attacks and clashes with Hezbollah, the Israeli army launched another attack in southern Lebanon, where a ceasefire had been previously established. Preliminary findings from the airstrike that targeted a vehicle indicate that one person lost their life. According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli army bombed a moving vehicle with drones in the al-Ghaziyeh area of Sidon, located in the south of Lebanon. The initial assessments revealed that one person was killed in the attack. Security measures were taken by the Lebanese army in the area where the vehicle was targeted. An AFP correspondent in the region reported that the attack targeted a “four-wheeled vehicle” and that black smoke rose into the sky after the incident.
ISRAEL ATTACKS CONTAINER HOMES AND GAS STATION
An official report from Lebanon’s NNA stated that the Israeli army targeted some container homes in the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh in the south during the night. The report also mentioned that Israel bombed a gas station in the area with drones. Despite the ceasefire agreement reached on November 27, 2024, between Israel and Lebanon, Israel frequently violates the agreement. It has been reported that over 190 people have died and 485 have been injured in attacks carried out by Israel after the ceasefire was established.
