Israeli Army Confession: Military Bases Attacked by Iran Suffered Damage

2 Mins Read

Missiles fired by Iran hit Israeli military bases on October 1. The Israeli army admitted that there was damage to the military bases during the attack by Iran, but claimed that the planes were not harmed.

Iran struck Israel with hypersonic ballistic missiles on the night of October 1. While Tel Aviv was targeted with 200 missiles, the Israeli army claimed that the majority of the missiles were intercepted. The Iranian press reported that 90% of the targets were hit.

A confession regarding the attack came from the Israeli army.

Israeli Army Spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, acknowledged on television that the Nevatim Airbase in the Negev Desert and the Tel Nof Airbase in central Israel were damaged during the Iranian attack. Hagari stated that the attack did not affect the bases’ “attack capability” and said, “No aircraft were damaged.”

HAS HASAN NASRALLAH’S SUCCESSOR SEYFETTIN BEEN KILLED? Hagari did not comment on Israel’s attack on Thursday evening, October 3, targeting Hashim Seyfettin, the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council and stated that “an attack on Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters is being confirmed.” Violent explosions occurred in quick succession in the southern part of Lebanon’s capital Beirut on the evening of October 3 where Israeli airstrikes continued. Israel claimed that the target of the attack was Hashim Seyfettin, the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council. Although it was alleged that the target of the attack was Hashim Safiyuddin, the possible successor of the deceased Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, Safiyuddin’s fate remains uncertain.
