The statement indicated that the 5.2 billion dollar agreement is part of the aid package previously approved by the US administration and Congress, stating, “The agreement also includes an option for the purchase of 25 additional aircraft.” It was mentioned in the statement that the new F-15 fighter jets to be acquired will be equipped with integrated advanced weapon systems with existing Israeli weapons, increased range, and payload capacity, ensuring the preservation of strategic superiority in the Israel Air Force’s current challenges in the Middle East and future challenges. It was noted that the delivery of the new F-15 fighter jets will begin in the year 2031, with 4 to 6 aircraft being delivered each year.
