In the attacks carried out by Israel on the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, it was announced that Izz al-Din Kassab, a senior official of Hamas, was killed. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that Kassab was responsible for Hamas’ strategic and military relations with other groups and had the authority to manage some of the attacks against Israel. It was claimed that Kassab’s deputy Ayman Ayesh was also killed in the same attack. This strike was conducted as part of Israel’s ongoing military operations in Gaza.
