Israel’s air strikes on Gaza resulted in the death of 4 Palestinians. While Israel released 10 Gazans with deteriorating health, Netanyahu made a statement concerning a prisoner exchange.

In the air attacks launched by the Israeli army that violated the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, four Palestinians lost their lives, and many people were injured. According to a report from the official Palestinian news agency WAFA based on hospital sources, the Israeli army carried out an air strike on the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip. In the attack, three Palestinians lost their lives, and many people were injured.

The Israeli army also carried out an air strike on the Mevasi area in the west of Khan Yunis, located in the south of the Gaza Strip. At least one person was killed in the attack, and many people were injured. ISRAEL RELEASED 10 PALESTINIANS WITH DETERIORATING HEALTH Israel released 10 Palestinians it had previously detained in the Gaza Strip, citing their “poor health conditions.” The 10 individuals released by the Israeli army entered Gaza through the “Kissufim” crossing east of Khan Yunis. It was observed that the health conditions of the released Palestinians were not good. Palestinians whose health had deteriorated due to the “torture” they experienced in Israeli prisons were brought to the Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the middle of the Gaza Strip’s Deir al-Balah town in vehicles belonging to the Red Cross. It was reported that the necessary tests and examinations were conducted for the health check of those released. In a statement issued on the Telegram account of the Prisoners Media Office affiliated with Hamas, it was noted that the 10 released prisoners had been detained during the attacks carried out by Israeli soldiers in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the northern Gaza Strip six months ago. NETANYAHU: AIMING TO RELEASE 10 ISRAELI PRISONERS Additionally, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that in the ongoing negotiations with Hamas over renewing the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement in Gaza, they aim to release 10 Israeli prisoners in Gaza at once. According to Israel’s Channel 12 television news, Netanyahu met with the family of Eitan Mor, one of the Israeli prisoners. Netanyahu told Mor’s family that the negotiations aimed at the release of 10 Israeli prisoners in Gaza at once were ongoing. The family emphasized to Netanyahu the stance of the Tikva Forum, a group of families of prisoners close to the right-wing government, which advocates for all prisoners in Gaza to be brought back in one bus at once. EGYPT’S CEASEFIRE OFFER ON THE TABLE The Israeli media had reported that Egypt presented a new draft that differed from previous offers, which included the release of five Israeli prisoners alive in exchange for a 40-day ceasefire or 11 live prisoners for a 40-day ceasefire only. It was claimed that the offer included the release of nine Israeli captives and the return of two bodies in exchange for a 70-day ceasefire and the release of 2,500 Palestinian prisoners. Later, it was alleged that Egypt’s offer included the release of eight Israeli prisoners in exchange for a 40 to 70-day ceasefire in Gaza and the release of Palestinian prisoners. It had been announced that Hamas had moved its ceasefire negotiations to Cairo, the capital of Egypt. However, no official statement had been made regarding the contents of the offer.
