The Israeli military has called upon Palestinians living in a northern region of Gaza to evacuate their locations.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee used a map marking a zone called D5 in the northern Gaza Strip in a post on account X. In the directive, described as an important message to the residents of the identified area, Adraee announced that the area was a dangerous war zone and that people there needed to immediately vacate their premises. Adraee requested Palestinians from the designated area to move to another area referred to as the so-called “humanitarian zone,” specifically instructing them to advance along the Salahaddin Street route, where hundreds of assassinations and air strikes had previously taken place.
ISRAEL’S FORCED MIGRATION TOOL Israel continues to use forced migration as a systematic weapon against the 2.3 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, whom it has been conducting a genocidal war against for a year. Palestinians, displaced from one area to another to avoid becoming targets of bombings, do not know where to go in Gaza Strip, where there is no safe place. This is because the Israeli military continues to bombard Palestinian civilians forcibly relocated to areas it defines as safe.
