In the early hours of yesterday morning, the Israeli army carried out air strikes in different areas of Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 43 Palestinians, including women and children, and injuring many others. Information from health sources and eyewitnesses revealed that in the air strikes carried out yesterday in various areas in the south, central, and northern parts of the Gaza Strip, 43 Palestinians, including women and children, lost their lives. In the city of Khan Yunus in the southern part of Gaza, 4 people were killed when a house belonging to the Palestinian “Abu Hatir” family was targeted. During a bombardment on a tent where displaced people from the south of the city resided, at least 6 members of the “Abu Semra” family lost their lives, and many others were injured. In Khan Yunus, 5 people, including 2 children, died in an attack on an auto repair shop and the El-Attar area in the west of the city, with many others injured. The Israeli army also targeted an apartment in the Batn Semin area west of Khan Yunus. In the attack, Muhammed Mansur, a correspondent for “Filistin el-Yevm” television, lost his life along with his wife and child. Israeli aircraft targeted a house in the Kayzan Neccar area in Khan Yunus in the south of Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 5 Palestinians, including a married couple. A Palestinian injured in the attack on Rafah city also passed away. Israeli forces targeted 5 vehicles in different areas of Khan Yunus with attacks; resulting in many Palestinian injuries. An attack on a tent in the Mevasi area in the west of the city left others wounded. Israeli forces continue to bombard the eastern and northern areas of Khan Yunus with artillery fire. ATTACKS TARGETING THE CENTRAL GAZA STRIP In a strike that targeted an apartment in the Nusayrat Refugee Camp in the central part of Gaza, 2 Palestinian women lost their lives. In an attack on a tent where displaced Palestinians were located in the camp, 4 Palestinians, including a child, were killed, and 13 others were injured. An Israeli strike targeted an area near the Miqraka village where Palestinian civilians gathered, resulting in the deaths of 4 Palestinians. Along with an auto repair shop at the entrance of the Megazi Refugee Camp, two parked vehicles were bombed in Zevayde and Nuseyrat. An attack near the entrance of the Zevayde village by an Israeli fighter jet wounded 3 Palestinians. One Palestinian injured in the Israeli bombardment in the central part of Gaza and transferred to the Avde Hospital for treatment did not survive. ATTACKS TARGETING GAZA AND THE NORTH In the Shuja’iyya neighborhood in the east of Gaza city, two houses were targeted in an air raid, resulting in the deaths of 4 Palestinians. The Israeli army targeted an empty vehicle in the Mastal area in the west of Gaza, injuring 2 Palestinians. A Palestinian injured in an attack in Gaza city was transported to a health point located in the Shati Refugee Camp in the west of the city. Israeli warplanes targeted a house near the Halla station in Jabalia, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, resulting in a fire. In the north of Gaza, Palestinian journalist Husam Shebat, a correspondent for Al Jazeera Mubasher, lost his life in the Israeli attacks. An attack on an aid warehouse in the Tevem neighborhood in the northern part of Beit Lahia resulted in the deaths of 3 Palestinians. The Israeli army resumed intense attacks on Gaza on the morning of March 18 following the ceasefire that came into effect on January 19 in the Gaza Strip.
