The Israeli army has declared 5 villages near the West Galilee region close to the Lebanon border as a “closed military zone,” prohibiting entry and exit. According to an announcement made by the Israeli army on the social networking site X, the villages of Rosh Hanikra, Shlomi, Hanita, Adamit, and Arab el-Aramshe have been declared a “closed military zone” starting from 22:00. It was noted that entry and exit to these areas are strictly prohibited. Meanwhile, simultaneously with the announcement, Avichay Adraee warned the Lebanese through Arab media not to be located from the first river in the south to the Mediterranean coast in preparation to use against Hezbollah. The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled conflicts with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, carried out hundreds of air strikes in southern Lebanese cities, as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23. According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, a total of 2,083 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have died since October 8, 2023. Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah was killed in Israeli air strikes on Beirut on September 27. Hezbollah, in turn, retaliates against Israel with rockets and missiles, mostly targeting military bases, with no significant damage reported.
