Israel Continues Airstrikes on Dahiye District in the South of Beirut

Israel, which began a ground operation in Lebanon, struck the south of Beirut once again. The attack led to successive explosions in Beirut. Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that they launched a rocket attack targeting Israeli forces in the Sa’sa settlement in northern Israel. They also claimed to have targeted the Sakhnin military industrial base in the Haifa Bay in the evening. Yesterday, the Israeli army conducted 12 airstrikes on several neighborhoods in the Dahiye district of Beirut, dubbed Hezbollah’s stronghold.
The air raids targeted the neighborhoods of Hreyk, Esh-Shayyah, Haddis Beyrut, Shuweifat, Al-Amerousiye, Ar Ruwaiss, and Al-Jamous in Dahiye.
The Lebanese army announced that a Lebanese soldier was wounded in the airstrikes in the south of the country while clearing the way at the entrance to the Kawkaba town in the south.

Israel, which has been in conflict with Hezbollah since October 8, 2023, carried out hundreds of airstrikes on the southern towns of Lebanon as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23.
According to Lebanese authorities, a total of 1,328 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have lost their lives since the explosion of the communication devices used by Hezbollah on September 17. On September 27, the Israeli army launched airstrikes on Beirut, killing Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah.
Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced within the country due to the Israeli bombardments. While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country to the capital Beirut and to the north continue, it is stated that more than 100,000 people crossed into Syria.
