Iran revealed that the hypersonic Fattah missile was among the more than 500 missiles sent to Israel. These missiles, with a range of 1400 kilometers, were first introduced in 2023. The missile was named Fattah in honor of Khamenei, who was killed in an Israeli attack recently. Details about the technical features of the Fattah missile and what is being wondered about it…
As tensions escalate in the Middle East, this time Iran targeted Israel.
After hundreds of missiles were launched, explosions were heard in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and Israel announced that two citizens were lightly injured.
Iran reported that the hypersonic Fattah 1 medium-range missiles were used in the attacks.
Fattah 1, named personally by Ali Khamenei, was introduced by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in 2023. Fattah means “conqueror”, “bringing victory”, or “triumphant” in Arabic.
Iranian officials argue that Fattah 1 missile, with high maneuverability in the atmosphere and near space, cannot be stopped by an air defense system developed in the next ten years.
It is also claimed that the Fattah 1 missile has the capability to carry a nuclear warhead if Iran continues its nuclear program.
