Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya showed support for businesses by making a purchase despite the “boycott” calls. Yerlikaya shared images of his shopping from a shop in Ankara on his social media account, stating: “Boycotts against our local and national products, our businesses, are a betrayal of our country and our people’s efforts. Together with our people, from 7 to 77, we will progress towards the goal of a great and strong Turkey united and together. We will continue to support our domestic production and stand by our businesses.”
