The details of the 5,000 TL child support were announced recently. In order to increase the declining youth population in Turkey, a birth aid will be provided for children born on and after January 1, 2025. So, how can one apply for child support? What are the application requirements for the 5,000 TL child support? The birth aid program implemented to support families within the scope of the 2025 Year of Family has been formalized. With the new regulation, special incentives and financial support will be provided for children born in 2025. For the first child, a one-time payment of 5,000 TL will be made, for the second child, a monthly payment of 1,500 TL until the child reaches the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) from the month the application is made, for the third and subsequent children, a monthly payment of 5,000 TL will be made until the child reaches the age of 5 (including the sixtieth month) from the month the application is made. Applications are made to the Provincial Directorates of Family and Social Services or Social Service Centers. The Birth Aid application is made in person, by registered mail or cargo after the child’s registration in the Child Identity Sharing System (KPS) at the relevant population directorate following the live birth, after the “Birth Aid Application Letter” is completed and signed completely.
