The inflation difference for 3 months has been revealed. Following the announcement of the inflation data for March, the attention of civil servants and retirees turned to the 3-month inflation difference. Working civil servants, SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees have inflation adjustments applied to their salaries twice a year, in January and July. With the announcement of the third inflation data of the year, which is the March inflation rate, civil servants and retirees have already begun calculating the rate of increase they will receive in July. So, how much is the 3-month inflation difference? How much will the salary increase for civil servants and retirees be in July 2025? The question of how much the 3-month inflation difference is, following the announcement of the March inflation data by TÜİK, is being questioned by millions of civil servants and retirees. Civil servants who receive increases based on inflation differences and collective bargaining agreements twice a year and retirees whose adjustments are determined according to the inflation difference are calculating the rate of increase they will receive in July 2025 with the announcement of the third inflation data of 2025. So, how much is the 3-month inflation difference? Here are the salary increase rates for civil servants and retirees according to the 3-month inflation difference. According to the data shared by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the inflation rate for March was announced as 2.46% monthly. Accordingly, SGK and Bağ-Kur retirees have already earned a 10.06% inflation difference for March 2025. The inflation difference that civil servants will receive has been announced as 3.83%. Since this increase will be reflected in the salaries in July 2025, it will be calculated cumulatively based on the monthly inflation rate announced each month. In addition to the collective bargaining increase, civil servants and retired civil servants receive an inflation difference. According to the collective bargaining increase, civil servants and retired civil servants will receive their second raise of 2025 in July. As of the end of March, this rate has exceeded 3.83%. The net rate will be determined after the announcement of the inflation data for April, May, and June. In line with these calculations, when the 3.83% inflation difference is added to the 5% in the 7th Period Collective Bargaining Agreement, a total of 9.03% cumulative increase will occur.
