Beneficiaries of widows’ and orphans’ pensions can benefit from bonuses to be paid before the Ramadan Feast. In 2025, the bonus amount has increased to 4,000 Turkish liras with a 33% raise. Along with retirees, pensioners, next of kin of martyrs, veterans, guide-blind individuals, and many other beneficiaries will receive bonuses. Widows and orphans receiving pensions do not need to apply separately to benefit from the bonuses. Payments will be made through banks receiving monthly payments. Widows’ and orphans’ pensions are paid at rates of 25%, 50%, and 75% according to their shares. So, by how much was the holiday bonus for widows and orphans receiving pensions increased? Here is the amount of the holiday bonus for widows and orphans receiving pensions in 2025…The holiday bonus amounts were redefined in 2025. AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Güler announced that the new bonus amount is 4,000 Turkish liras. Widows and orphans receiving pensions will benefit from the holiday bonus based on their share percentages. If the deceased insured person’s spouse has no children, 75% of the holiday bonus will be paid. In case there are children, a payment of 50% will be received. Beneficiaries of death pensions will benefit from 25% of the bonus payment.
Those receiving widows’ and orphans’ pensions at a 75% share rate will receive 3,000 Turkish liras.
Those receiving a payment at a 50% share rate as widows’ pension will receive a bonus of 2,000 Turkish liras this year.
And those receiving death pensions and payments at a 25% share rate will receive 1,000 Turkish liras as a bonus. The Social Security Institution (SGK) pays holiday bonuses to retirees, pensioners, disability pensioners, disability pensioners due to duty, disability pensioners, death pensioners, beneficiaries of continuous work incapacity income and death income, next of kin of martyrs, veterans, combat veterans, security guards, champion athletes, and civilians affected by terrorism, as well as their beneficiaries.
