Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that Home Care Assistance payments have started to be deposited into accounts.
In a written statement, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş recalled that Home Care Assistance was initiated in 2006 with the idea of supporting disabled individuals primarily within their families. Göktaş provided information that a monthly payment of 10,125 Turkish lira is made per eligible beneficiary under the Home Care Assistance program. She noted, “This month, we have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion Turkish lira in Home Care Assistance payments into the accounts of completely dependent citizens and their families. An average of 544,000 citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance monthly. I wish the payments to be beneficial to all our disabled citizens and their families. As the ministry, we will continue our efforts for the transparent and sustainable continuation of rights-based social aids in the field of disability.”
HOME CARE ALLOWANCE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS The average monthly income per person must be less than 2/3 of the net monthly amount of the minimum wage. Additionally, the requirement for individuals over 18 in the disabled health board report is to be classified as “severely disabled” or “completely dependent.” HOW MUCH IS THE 2025 HOME CARE ASSISTANCE? The Home Care Assistance has been increased to 10,125 Turkish lira.
