The Israeli army, which started land invasion in Lebanon, continues its air strikes as well. Israeli warplanes targeting the southern district of Dahiyeh, known as Hezbollah’s stronghold in Beirut, also struck a house in the southern village of Debl, where three people were reported dead. Hezbollah, on the other hand, stated that they pressured Israeli forces infiltrated from the border to withdraw while targeting military positions and the city of Haifa with missiles. A Hezbollah media spokesperson made a statement saying, “This is just the beginning, we have fighters, weapons, and ammunition to repel Israel.” The Israeli army carried out 12 air strikes on several neighborhoods in Dahiyeh last night, calling it Hezbollah’s stronghold in the southern part of Beirut.
The air strikes targeted the neighborhoods of Hreyk, Ash-Shayyah, Haret Hreik, Shuwaifat, Al-Armoussiyeh, Ar-Rweis, and Al-Jamous.
No information was shared regarding casualties or damage caused by the attacks. According to Lebanon’s official news agency NNA, Israeli warplanes struck a house in the southern village of Debl this morning.
Three people were reported dead in the air raid. Israel issued new evacuation orders for the largely evacuated suburb area after days of heavy attacks.
Meanwhile, Lebanese forced to migrate due to Israeli attacks were spotted at the airport. Hezbollah also announced that they encountered Israeli forces who infiltrated the town of Adaysseh early this morning and forced them to withdraw.
Hezbollah also reported that their fighters targeted a “large infantry force” in Misgav Am across the border with “rockets and cannons” and gathered military units in three more locations, including one with Burkan rockets.
The Lebanese organization announced that they launched a missile attack on the city of Haifa in Israel. Hezbollah’s media chief, Muhammad Afif, made a statement, saying, “This is just the beginning, we have fighters, weapons, and ammunition to repel Israel.” Meanwhile, Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for the Houthis in Yemen, announced today that they targeted military positions deep in Israel with a three-winged “Jerusalem 5” rocket.
Lebanese residents fleeing Israeli attacks are continuing their lives in churches and other shelters.
