In a statement by Hizbullah, it was revealed that so far 50 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 500 Israeli soldiers wounded, stating, “It is announced that a new escalation phase is underway in the conflict, in line with the leadership of the resistance.”
As repercussions of Israel announcing the death of Hamas’s former leader Yahya Sinvar continue, a statement regarding the ongoing conflicts in the region came from Hizbullah.
In a statement made on the social networking platform Telegram, it was mentioned that Israel amassed over 70,000 soldiers and hundreds of military vehicles to the frontlines, with the usage of words, “The Israeli army is facing hundreds of Hizbullah fighters who are setting deadly traps for them.” It was stated in the announcement that Hizbullah has increased rocket and drone attacks not only along the Lebanese border but also targeting Israeli troops inside Israel, “Since the start of the occupation last month, approximately 55 Israeli soldiers have been killed in clashes while over 500 Israeli soldiers have been wounded. Hizbullah has destroyed 20 Merkava tanks, 4 military bulldozers, and 2 drones.”
The statement included the phrase, “It is announced that a new escalation phase is underway in the conflict, in line with the leadership of the resistance,” without addressing the news of Hamas leader Yahya Sinvar’s death.
