Has Israel’s secret plan been leaked? Allegations of retaliation against Iran

2 Mins Read

Allegations have surfaced claiming that US intelligence documents containing Israel’s preparations for an attack on Iran have been leaked. The documents reportedly detail Israel’s attack plans against Iran. Echoes of the alleged leaking of US intelligence documents outlining Israel’s preparations for an attack on Iran continue to reverberate through a Telegram account linked to Tehran. A post made from the Telegram account linked to Iran stated, “A source from US intelligence shared with us a highly sensitive and top-secret US intelligence document dated 15-16 October detailing Israel’s preparations for a comprehensive attack on Iran.” While the leaking allegations have sparked debates, the documents reportedly elaborate in detail on recent attack plans and ammunition resupply strategies deemed to be targeting Iran that have been carried out at Israeli Air Force bases. Additionally, the documents indicate that this week, the Israeli military conducted exercises with warplanes, drones, and surface-to-air missiles as part of preparations for an attack on Iran. A senior Israeli official, speaking to The Jerusalem Post, whose name was not disclosed, mentioned, “The Israeli defense establishment is aware of the leak and is taking it very seriously.” However, according to CNN’s report, American officials view the incident as “extremely serious” but believe that the leak will not deter Israel’s plans. Former US Deputy Secretary of Defense and retired CIA officer Mick Mulroy also expressed concerns about how the leaking allegations could potentially lead to future trust issues between the US and Israel.
