Harris: Trump is Degrading the Presidency

2 Mins Read

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris claimed that Trump is “degrading the presidency” by using crude language. As the race approaches its end, Trump continues to intensify his rhetoric against his opponent.

Former President Donald Trump, one of the candidates in the White House race, recently targeted Democratic nominee Kamala Harris with foul language. Harris stated yesterday that by adopting a crude language, Trump is “degrading the presidency.” In an interview, Harris argued that Trump’s comments were an insult to the Presidency and undermined the moral authority of the United States on the international stage. Responding to a question about Trump’s comments, Harris said, “The attitude you see in my former U.S. president opponent really diminishes the office.”

“YOU ARE A FAILED VICE PRESIDENT” As the election race enters its final stretch, Trump’s rhetoric is becoming increasingly harsh. In a recent rally, he once again targeted Harris by saying, “You are a failed vice president, even worse, you got fired, so get out of here.” Asked how she would deal with the insults hurled by her Republican rival, Harris emphasized the importance of the U.S. presidency beyond Washington. “When you represent the United States, you have a legitimate authority to speak about the importance of democracy and the rule of law as you travel to halls around the world,” she said.

Harris stated that Trump should not be allowed to tarnish the presidency once again.
