After 21 years, Güler Sabancı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding, is stepping down from her position. It is expected that Hayri Çulhacı will take over from Güler Sabancı. Güler Sabancı will resign at the ordinary general assembly on March 27. In 2004, Güler Sabancı was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabancı Holding A.Ş. after Sakıp Sabancı. Hayri Çulhacı is expected to fill the vacant seat left by Sabancı. The following information was provided: “Mr. Hayri Çulhacı has been a member of the Sabancı Group for approximately 35 years, serving as a member of the Executive Committee at Sabancı Holding, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Akbank, and as a member of the Board of Directors at Sabancı Holding and its subsidiaries. Ms. Güler Sabancı will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Sabancı Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Sabancı University, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sakıp Sabancı Museum.”
