1 Mins Read

Demonstrations against Musk continue at Tesla dealerships in the US. In the United States, hundreds of people continue to gather in front of Tesla dealerships to protest the federal budget cuts from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in protest of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla. According to reports in the US media, protesters in Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and the capital Washington DC came together in front of Tesla dealerships. Hundreds of demonstrators called for not purchasing vehicles from Tesla, in protest of DOGE’s federal cuts while Musk serves as CEO. Protesters chanted slogans such as “Sell your Teslas, sell your shares, join the strike. Harming Tesla is halting Musk.” Since the beginning of the month, demonstrations have been organized in various regions of the country in front of Tesla dealerships where Musk is CEO, leading to arrests during the protests. US President Donald Trump showed his support for Musk by purchasing a Tesla car as a senior advisor. Trump emphasized that violent actions against Tesla dealerships would be considered “domestic terrorism” and would have severe consequences for the perpetrators.
