The number of grape vineyards in the village of Kuyucak, located in the Yalvaç district of Isparta, has been increasing with government support. The increased production has reversed the migration from the village to the city. In Kuyucak village of Yalvaç district in Isparta, the number of grape vineyards has been increasing every year with government support. For many years, grape cultivation has been carried out in Kuyucak village, where the “Improvement of Viticulture in Kuyucak Village” project was initiated by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry in 2021. With the implementation of the project, grape seedlings were distributed and drip irrigation was introduced in the village, where 163 farmers are producing on 2,050 hectares of land. With an annual production of approximately 2,250 tons of grapes in the village, the income has increased, leading to an increase in population every year. Kuyucak, which used to experience emigration in previous years, has now become a destination for migration from the city to the village thanks to grape production. Grape harvesting in the district begins in September and continues until November.
