Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Yumaklı announced that women who got married or had children this year in forest villages will receive a 50% grant support. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı stated that various supports would be provided to families in forest villages within the scope of the 2025 Family Year. Consequently, women residing in forest villages who got married or had children this year will receive a 50% grant in microcredit applications. Half of the credits they will use up to 70 thousand liras will be granted, and the remaining half will be interest-free and repayable over 4 years. In addition, free seedlings will be provided to farmers who are fighting the stink bug and want to create a wind curtain on the edge of their fields. Income-generating and medicinal aromatic species seedlings will be provided to farmers living in forest villages at an 80% discount. Farmer cooperatives will be supported in establishing facilities for the packaging, marketing, and storage of their products.
