1 Mins Read

Foreign Minister Fidan stated in an interview with Reuters that Turkey does not want to confront Israel in Syria.

Minister Hakan Fidan spoke to Reuters news agency.

Fidan emphasized that Turkey does not seek confrontation with Israel in Syria.

He mentioned that Israel’s attacks in Syria weaken the new government’s ability to deter the ISIS terrorist group and other threats.

Fidan expressed concerns that Israel’s actions in Syria may lead to regional instability in the future, stating that if Syria wants to make certain agreements with Israel, it is their prerogative.

In response to a question about US-Iran tensions, Fidan emphasized the importance of diplomacy and stated that Turkey does not want to see any attacks on Iran.
