The T4 Airbase in the central regions of Syria, targeted for destruction by Israel, has been captured on camera. Located west of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Homs, this airport was used by the Assad regime for many years. The T4 airbase, one of the country’s largest, covers a vast area. Situated strategically in the central regions of Syria, it’s connected by road to major cities like Homs and Damascus. Originally modernized with support from the Soviet Union during the Cold War era, the airbase became one of the ousted regime’s key operational hubs. Both the Russian and Iranian military also utilized this base. Israel has intensified its attacks on the airbase, targeting Iranian forces, with the goal of rendering it completely inoperable post-regime overthrow. Attacks on the airbase have reportedly focused on the center of the main runway and radar systems, with aircraft hangars and some decommissioned warplanes also sustaining damage. A source mentioned that in yesterday’s four strikes by Israel, the S200 and S400 air defense systems were also targeted.
