Initial reports indicate that 32 people have died in the floods, 17 have been injured, and 12 are missing. Search and rescue efforts have saved 1053 people. The government has issued flood warnings nationwide, and announced that all police officers will participate in search and rescue operations. Minister of the Interior, Ramesh Lekhak, mentioned damages in areas outside the capital, stating that local authorities are still gathering information.
