Member of Parliament Ibrahim Musavi from Hizbullah made a statement regarding Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections, saying, “We welcome any effort to stop the war, but we do not tie our hopes to a particular administration.”

Following Donald Trump’s declaration of victory in the US presidential elections, the first statement came from Lebanese Hizbullah.

Hizbullah MP Ibrahim Musavi spoke to Reuters after Trump’s win.

Musavi stated, “We welcome any effort to stop the war, but we do not tie our hopes to a particular administration.” He mentioned that both Republicans and Democrats have similar policies on Israel, saying, “America can use its influence to stop this destruction, we want to see action.”
