In India, it has been revealed that a doctor who was arrested after the deaths of 7 people he performed heart surgeries on had forged his medical diploma. The fake doctor in the Madhya Pradesh state of India was taken into custody after 7 out of the 15 patients he operated on between January and February died. According to Hindustan Times, the state police stated in their investigation that a complaint was filed suspecting the fake doctor, known as Narendra John Camm, of not submitting the necessary documentation. The police confirmed that the real name of the “fake doctor” was Narendra Vikramaditya Yadav and that he has been apprehended. Authorities accused Yadav of “forging medical diplomas and documents, using these documents to harm or deceive others.” Meanwhile, Pradeep Shukla, the son of former council member Rajendra Prasad Shukla in the Chhattisgarh state, claimed that his father underwent surgery performed by Yadav in 2006 and later passed away.
