An explosion occurred in a limousine believed to be from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official vehicle fleet in the capital city of Moscow. The incident took place near the Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters, causing the limousine to be engulfed in flames. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries due to the fire that started in the vehicle’s engine and quickly spread to the interior of the limousine. The street was covered in black smoke due to the flames, and restaurant employees in the vicinity were the first to respond to the fire. It is still unknown who was behind the wheel of the vehicle and what caused the explosion.
It had been announced that a nuclear response would be given to any attempted assassination of Putin, as extensive measures have been taken in recent years to enhance his security. Putin regularly uses the limousine fleet for travel and has gifted these vehicles to several world leaders, including North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, in the past.
